14 Mile Point Lighthouse, Michigan

On a remote stretch of the Keweenaw Peninsula, in the upper peninsula of Michigan, stands the remains of a lighthouse that provided a speck of light for the long dark stretch of shoreline.

The 14 Mile Point Lighthouse is remote. Thirteen miles north of Ontonagon and miles from any public road. The roads leading to the lighthouse have long over grown.

Join Danny and I as we leave Misery Bay, on Thor, for a boat trip to the long abandoned lighthouse. Learn a little about its history, the fire and its unique features.
